At SCA Group, food safety is central to the Catering and Food Supply operations we deliver. We apply defined controls, ongoing monitoring and continual improvement to support the safe handling, preparation, storage and delivery of food.

Our Food Safety Management System, certified to ISO 22000:2018, provides a structured and internationally recognised framework for identifying food safety hazards, managing associated risks and maintaining appropriate controls across relevant operations.

The BRCGS Global Standard for Agents and Brokers provides an internationally recognised framework for businesses that buy, sell or facilitate the trade of food, packaging and consumer products without manufacturing, processing or storing those products at their own facilities. 

SCA Group’s certification supports the management of product safety, authenticity, quality and legality through defined controls covering supplier approval, risk assessment, traceability and product integrity.

The standard provides assurance that relevant products and suppliers are managed through documented, controlled and traceable processes across the applicable supply chain.

SCA Group operates an Information Security Management System certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The system provides a structured framework for identifying and managing information security risks and protecting information assets. 

This is complemented by Cyber Essentials Plus certification, which provides independent technical verification against the scheme’s cyber security requirements. Together, these certifications support the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information managed across SCA Group’s operations.

SCA Group holds Cyber Essentials Plus certification, issued by Certification Europe. The certification provides independent technical verification that the Cyber Essentials controls are implemented across the systems included within the certified scope.

Cyber Essentials Plus builds on the verified Cyber Essentials assessment by adding a technical audit of the organisation’s systems. This includes testing designed to confirm that controls are in place to reduce exposure to common internet-based cyber attacks. 

The certification complements SCA Group’s Information Security Management System and supports the protection of information, systems and digital operations.

Research and Development Associates (R&DA) is a professional association supporting cooperation between private industry, government, academic institutions and other specialists involved in military food and packaging.
