SCA Group Helps Cultivate Learning and Sustainability at Rainham School

We proudly supported St Margaret’s CofE Junior School in Rainham, UK, with their new garden project. The school recognised that gardening lessons would benefit all junior pupils, including those with learning difficulties, by promoting health through growing vegetables from seed and caring for them until harvest. The goal was for the school kitchen to serve the vegetables for lunch.

We donated a greenhouse, gardening tools, compost, pots, seeds for spring planting, and more. Michael Harrison, director of SCA Ltd., also helped prepare the greenhouse. He remains actively involved, volunteering his time to help the garden serve a meaningful purpose.

The school was enthusiastic about the project, and we were pleased to see how it helped students learn valuable lessons about sustainability, teamwork, and the joy of growing their own food. Giving back to the community remains one of our key initiatives, and we were honored to be part of this effort.

SCA Group remains at the school’s disposal for this project and will be happy to continue offering small but meaningful donations that support the school’s goals.
